Even Cowgirls Get the Blues

you look like youve gained weight everytime i seen you

My answer:

You have terrible English.

Usually I don’t answer these… But this is not only untrue, but you’re just being plain mean. In the end of 2010 I was about 118 lbs, two months ago I was around 115, and now I’m at 111. So I bet every time you’ve seen me, I’ve actually been thinner. But even so, who really cares about my weight? That’s my own business.

yeah your boyfriends an ass

My answer:

Actually, you’re wrong.

Try being or finding a guy like him.  He’s taking in my cat tomorrow because he knows how upset I am that my dad wants to send her to a pound where she will most likely be euthanized.  He supports every decision I make when it comes to school and work.  We don’t always agree but he never holds grudges and always talks things through.  We don’t even fight much regardless.  Even when he’s away, he still talks to me as much as he can.  Even if he doesn’t have a phone he still sends me the sweetest e-mails telling me about his day and how much he misses me.  He even brings home little souvenirs from his trips to show he was thinking of me.  But even regardless of all of these things, he treats me right.  I am truly happy with him.  He’s a good person once you give him the chance and understand him.  So honestly, it’s probably you.  You’re probably the total asshole.  He hasn’t done anything to hurt me and I’m not about to let the opinions other people have of him affect my relationship.  Plus, out of everyone in the “scene” (I’m assuming this is from one of you, but who knows), he’s pretty much the only one who has treated me right and has been a true friend even before we started our relationship.  I’m with Jared for a reason.

i really like your brown hair are you going back natural?

My answer:

Thank you

My natural color is medium brown with gold highlights. I had fun with all of the crazy colors but sometimes I wish I never messed with it so much.

My last hair color was red and when I dyed the brown, it didn’t cover completely so I had some red highlights. Now the highlights are turning more gold and the brown dye is fading, so it’s looking more like my natural color. I may have to dye it a few times just so my hair doesn’t fade too much (all of my hair was bleached) until it grows out and can fade back to my natural color. My hair grows extremely fast too, so it should only be a few months until it’s back to normal. I also plan on getting it cut differently soon as well.

They aint making fun of him being disabled. How else are they supposed to portray stephen hawking?

My answer:

Correction: They did not make fun of him for being disabled.*

Indeed, that is how he looks in real life. That doesn’t anger me. But they did make fun of his disabilities in their lyrics.

“So take a seat, Steve. Oop, I see you brought your own”

“What’s with your voice, I can’t freakin’tell. You sound like WALL-E having sex with a Speak & Spell”

etc.

Tumblr wont let a nigga post links just type it all togetha

My answer:

I did and it said “404 Not Found”. And don’t say “nigga”, it’s unattractive in every way.

But I just googled it and I got Einstein vs Stephen Hawking Epic Rape Battle… Kind of funny in some parts. I don’t like how they make fun of Stephen Hawking’s disabilities, not cool.

you really do look like dita and bernie. you should get back into modeling

My answer:

I really hope you mean Bernie Dexter! She is the biggest sweetheart and she is gorgeous. Every time I’ve talked to her she has been nothing but kind.

I’m not into mainstream modeling, I’m actually against it now.  The reason why there aren’t “supermodels” anymore is because the industry won’t allow girls to have their own identity. Every girl has to be a 13 year old who looks 25, a size 00, and extremely tall. I’m a size 5 and I’m not even 6 foot! It’s not healthy for a girl that tall to be a 00, 0, or even up to a 3!  It’s disgusting.  Marilyn Monroe, Bettie Page, Twiggy, and every supermodel still popular to this day all had different figures and a few of them were my size or thicker than me. And I think they still are even prettier than the modern-day model. The current industry is to blame for the majority of people who have eating disorders or a false body image. It made me extremely insecure for a long time.

But, if the opportunity were to present itself, I would still do alternative or pin-up modeling.  If a company or photographer can accept my body for how it is, I would work for them. When I go out to California to visit my family I’m going to look into if I can model for a few of my favorite pin-up clothing lines or skate brands just for fun.

i dont understand why u dont just get your license and a car instead of taking the bus. taking the bus sucks.

My answer:

In January 2009 my sister and I witnessed a terrible car crash. It was a three lane street and he sped up to probably over 100 MPH, crossed all three lanes, cut us off, and slammed into a wall.  All of the lights in his car went on, then they all died out.  The front half of his car was missing. Then randomly he started reversing across six lanes (with only half a car, let me remind you.. I don’t know how it was even possible) and drove into a neighborhood. We think he tried committing suicide but the police wouldn’t give us anymore information. We were the only ones on the road to witness it.

In around February 2009 a kid from my school named Gonzalo died in a car crash right behind my house. I heard it from my bedroom.

Then on April 9, 2009 one of my childhood best friends who also went to my school died in a car crash. The guy she was with flew out the windshield and from all of the reports I’ve heard she died at the hospital due to blood clots in her brain. She was 17. I went to her church procession, wake, and memorial.  I even read a speech at a softball game she should have been playing in. It was the hardest time of my life.

Then about a month later a girl from my school was terribly injured when she was hit by a car. She almost died.

Then a few months later three kids from Douglas ran their car into a canal. I knew one of them, Anthony. When I first moved to Coral Springs in sixth grade I didn’t have very many friends… And to make it even worse, I wasn’t exactly considered to be “normal”. I didn’t wear Hollister, I was a tomboy in Vans, “punk” band t-shirts, and Dickies. It took a long time for people to accept me. But Anthony sat at my art table in the sixth grade and befriended me. He was a sweet kid. I loved going to Art everyday because of the kids sitting at the table. Middle school was rough.

Then about a week ago another kid from my old high school died in a car crash. He was hit by a large truck.

And the list goes on… Basically, I’m terrified of cars. It took me a long time to even be able to drive with someone else. I ended up in therapy and had to go under hypnosis many times to get over it, especially to get over Jessi’s death. And why do you care, anyway? It doesn’t affect you. I don’t mind riding the bus. Plus, I get to ride it for free since I’m a student. Which also saves on gas money. Even when I start driving I still might take the bus half way to avoid parking and wasting gas. I have a car already. But I don’t need a car.

I don't answer hate mail.

"Creation seems to come out of imperfection. It seems to come out of a striving and a frustration and this is where I think language came from. I mean, it came from our desire to transcend our isolation and have some sort of connection with one another. And it had to be easy when it was just simple survival. Like you know, 'water,' we came up with a sound for that. Or saber tooth tiger right behind you. We came up with a sound for that. But when it gets really interesting I think is when we use that same system of symbols to communicate all the abstract and intangible things that we're experiencing. What is like... frustration? Or what is anger or love? When I say love, the sound comes out of my mouth and it hits the other person's ear, travels through this byzantine conduit in their brain through their memories of love or lack of love, and they register what I'm saying and they say yes, they understand. But how do I know they understand? Because words are inert. They're just symbols. They're dead, you know? And so much of our experience is intangible. So much of what we perceive cannot be expressed. It's unspeakable. And yet you know, when we communicate with one another and we feel that we have connected and we think that we're understood I think we have a feeling of almost spiritual communion. And that feeling might be transient, but I think it's what we live for."
